This lushly textured, cerulean interpretation of the Greek god of archery is befitting of the twin sister of Artemis and son of the sky god and king of gods, Zeus. According to tradition, like his sister, Apollo was a child-nurturing diety, seen as a beautiful symbol of athletic youth and protector of the young. This exquisitely detailed sculpt of one of the original patrons of the arts, presiding over all music, songs, dance and poetry, is finished with contemporary flocked velvet in a vibrant hue of cobalt blue.
