Mitch Buchannon is the lead character made famous by David Hasselhoff in the 1989 cult classic television action drama, Baywatch, on NBC. While the series was canceled after just one season, it was quickly revived by creators for the first-run syndication market in 1991, and became one of the most watched television shows in the world! The series, about LA County lifeguards patroling the California beaches ran through 1999. Here, Mitch is dressed in his signature red uniform with rescue buoy in hand.
