Our novelty Benjamin Franklin Electrici-TEA mug celebrates one of Philadelphia’s PHinest!  A successful printer and newspaper editor in our beloved home city of Philadelphia, PA- this mug pays homage to this Founding Father’s role as a successful scientist and invetor, depicting his experiments with lightning and electricity.  The mug features a Currier & Ives 1876 hand-colored lithograph of Ben and his son.  The clever design includes a notch at the top of the mug to hold the string of your tea bag- allowing the paper tag to hand down the side of the mug and become the kite at the end of Ben Franklin’s string… it’s ingenious!  Made of ceramic.  Microwave safe, but hand washing is recommended.  Holds approximately 12 fluid ounces.  Sold individually.
