Designed by self-taught American artist, Margaret Haire, our Boy Benjamin box evokes special memories of pride and patriotism. The artist, herself, cherishes fond memories of going with her mother and grandmother to search for just the right decoration, and hopes to do the same for collectors of her fine art. Carefully crafted from a variety of materials including: paper pulp, plaster, fabric, and pressed paper. This adorable figure of a boy dressed in a striped top hat with matching tie, is mounted on top of a miniature round box decorated with stars and stripes. Trumpet firmly in hand, he makes the perfect addition to any patriotic decor collection! Approximately 12” high. Sold individually.
