Is it the lizard that’s trippin’, or is it you? Lippin’ Trizard is an original mixed media work of art by PHAG PHounder, Jason Crook. This vibrant, one-of-a-kind canvas lizard painting depicts a green lizard in a kaleidoscope of color and pattern that’s instantly recognizable as the work of Crook. The style of this self-taught artist is eclectic and challenging to label. He has an affinity for giving reality a truly animated feel. The subjects of his works are limited only by his imagination; his art frequently fuses abstract ideas with elements of popular culture. Having studied color theory briefly during the early ’90s, his palette is both bright and vast. Crook’s works, however varied, maintain a consistently high level of visual appeal, and his use of color in combination with intricate patterns can only be described as fascinating. This work is no exception! Unframed stretched canvas. Approximately 11″ x 14″. Sold individually.
