This Our Union canvas painting is an original work by Philadelphia-area artist, Jack Giovinetti, who is often described as the illegitimate son of Picasso and Van Gogh. Giovinetti is a contemporary artist whose works you can feel deep within your soul. This is because the images he creates often depict people in the midst of intense emotion themselves. Such is the case with this piece. Having no idea, at inception, what a finished piece will look like, Giovenetti’s artistic visions are created within a deep meditative space. His ability to capture emotion in a piece of art that calls our name is astonishing! Jack Giovinetti is a soulful master who does not have formal training. His use of elements of mixed media including: oil, acrylic, and melted crayon, enable the creation of vibrant, yet complex textures that are intensely soulful- just like him. Acrylics on canvas.
