If you think all math is rational, you are living in a fool’s paradise! Designed with the true Mathlete in mind, our set of four math proof pudding bowls is based on the idiom, “The proof is in the pudding,” which is really just shorthand for, “the proof of the pudding is in the eating.” In other words, the real value of something is revealed only by experiencing it. We’re not going to lie, the complex concepts explored on the exterior walls, and the interior base, of these bowls is mathematikoi-level stuff. Serving up tasty desserts in these bowls may lead to some irrational theories– or perhaps just a theory about irrational numbers. Each bowl in the set PHeatures a proof to classic theorems of Euclid, Hippasus, Pythagoras, and Gauss. While these 8 oz. math proof pudding bowls are only about 2″ tall, the thinking they produce is oh so deep! Approximately 4″ in diameter. Made of ceramic. Sold as a set.
