Tonight marks the highly anticipated return of Suits on the USA Network, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store!  Whatever the challenge, we’re confident Handsome Harvey and the gang at Pearson, Specter, Litt will tailor the perfect plan to conquer it. Always ready for action, we look forward to watching all summer as Mike enters the BIG house and  Jessica leads the charge to get her house in order!  This got us thinking- maybe others could use some inspiration for getting their space decked out and suited for summer, so here are three amazing inspirations…

For starters, take a peek at this amazing brick patio, complete with fireplace, that’s attached to a renovated 1931 Spanish-style home in Lose Feliz, CA.  It sold last year for a cool $2 million, but we didn’t choose to share it just because it’s an amazing space.  Purchased in 2002, this was actually the home of actor Gabriel Macht (a.k.a. Harvey Specter) and wife Jacinda Barrett (a.k.a. Diana Rayburn from the Netflix original series Bloodline– also high on our list for recommended summer viewing).

Suitably, you arrive at this beauty of a patio via a well-manicured pathway.  This amazing outdoor space is surrounded by spectacular landscaping, an outdoor shower, and two additional decks!

Traveling back east to our home base of Philadelphia, PA, check out this architecturally eccentric property located at 1326 Chestnut Street on the fringe of the Gayborhood in the heart of Midtown Village.  Possibly one of our favorite city buildings, this treasure first came to life as the home of Keystone National Bank in 1887.

Built by famed architect W.G. Hale, the Hale Building is regarded as a rule-breaker, bucking all the architectural trends of the time with its high Victorian design.  This rendering, released by the architectural firm handling the renovation, details the building’s updated look.

Today, this Philadelphia landmark is being reimagined as a mixed-use office space- a creative hub for innovative businesses that will be decked out with an unbelievable 1,650 SF roof deck/sky lounge to be shared, and enjoyed, by all its tenants.

While we’re talking roof decks, we thought we would round out our inspirations by sharing a roof deck makeover completed by our team here at PHAG!  By definition, city living comes with its fair share of space challenges, and dealing with smaller-than-average outdoor spaces is no exception.  These before and after shots show a rooftop oasis we created, decked out with a lounge area and bar seating.  The third photo also highlights the presence of an eco-friendly green roof panel, added to assist with storm water management and to promote healthier city living!
